Just thought I would give you a quick update on how our baby is coming along! Below is some information that my wife got. Very Exciting! Again thanks for all of your support and kind wishes.

“Your baby is now developing their immune system, as natural antibodies pass from your blood stream to them through the placenta. Your baby is now capable of coordinating a suck and swallow action, needed to drink milk after being born. However, this reflex does not fully mature until about 34 to 36 weeks. Your baby may look around and is capable of distinguishing light from dark and tracking movement.”

Shortly after catching up with Paul, I was able to score some time with Rick Otton, who is one of the contributors in Secrets of Property Millionaires Exposed. Rick has some incredicble strategies in regards to investing in real eatate which you really have to hear to believe.

This is a couple of weeks late, but around my birthday I got together with some friends and some of the young people that are involved in our Empower U Program and we went to Karaoke World in the city!

It was a great night, which saw us all belt out some tunes. Below are a few pics for your amusement.

Last weekend I was in Melbourne for the Think and Grow Rich Seminar and was fortunate enough to catch up with Craig Lovett, who is one of the contributors in Secrets of Male Entrepreneurs Exposed. Craig has made a name for himself with his company Cleanevent, which holds the contracts for such events as Live Earth and the Olympics.

We were both in Melbourne at the same time and he invited me to a corporate box at the Telstra Dome to watch my first live AFL match between the Western Bulldogs and Essendon.

This was also an historical event, as Essenden coach Kevin Sheedy broke the record for the number of games as a player/coach of any team.

It was a wonderful night and was great to have a chance to catch up with Craig. Check out the pics below.

My wife and I just thought we would give you an update as we are now 25 weeks pregnant!!

Katherine has joined a website where they give you information about where your pregnancy is at. Below I have pasted some information and a photo. Thanks again for all of your support and kind wishes… as you can imagine we are getting VERY excited!

“You are now 25 weeks pregnant and at the beginning of week 26.

Your baby measures about 33 cm from head to toe (or 13.2 inches) and weighs about 800 grams (or 1lb 12 oz).

Your baby’s eyelids are no longer fused, so they can now open their eyes and blink! It is also possible for your baby to respond to bright light (such as shining a torch through your belly). Newborns have vision that is perfectly focussed from about 20 to 30 cm, usually as far away as the face of the person holding them!

Babies born between 24 and 26 weeks are regarded as extremely preterm, but have a 50 to 70% chance of surviving if they have access to a fully equipped intensive care nursery. Babies change position frequently during this phase of pregnancy and are quite often in abreech position (bottom down) or lying across your belly in a transverse position.”

We just wanted to share with you the progress that we have been making in recent months with the Secrets Exposed Series.

With over 140 contributors, 800,000 words, 100 different cover photos and very little sleep, we are very proud to bring you even more new books!

As you can see from the picture below, we have a number of new titles now available for our readers. As you can also see, we are working out way through all of the colours of the rainbow! (Our good friend Brent Williams even said “If you get to a book that is going to be brown, you know you have gone to far!”).

Most recently, Secrets of Entrepreneurs Under 40 Exposed has been completed and we are SO excited to present it to you.

This book features material by some of Australia’s top business people. In Entrepreneurs Under 40, you will read about some up-and-coming entrepreneurs who are paving their way in business, with amazing ideas, successful tips and genuine advice. These people are all stars in their own right, and we are delighted that we can share their stories with you.

Over the next few months, we are going to be releasing some more titles (yes, more!) so please keep an eye on the blog and our newsletters. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of our contributors, as they have all been a pleasure to deal with and we are delighted that this series has enabled them to have a platform to share their ideas.
